Achievement Gap Survey Study

On behalf of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), J&A worked with Dr. Kathy Hayes (LAUSD Evaluation Specialist) to support a study focused on closing the achievement gap between African American students and other students. As part of this study, J&A trained and supervised a team of data collectors to conduct a mall intercept survey with African American parents to collect information about their attitudes, behavior and opinions with respect to their involvement in their children’s education. Additionally, J&A was responsible for the processing of survey data in preparation for the subsequent analyses and reporting.
