Learning to Improve Learning

August 2017by admin0

In the spring of 2013, J&A organized a five-day international meeting in Uganda on the implementation and evaluation of primary education learning interventions in developing countries, on behalf of a major private educational and cultural foundation.  The focus of the meeting was on early grade reading and national level program scale-up.

Responsibilities included: identifying the meeting site, creating an agenda appropriate to the aims of the meeting, identifying and inviting 60 participants, compiling background materials, translating background materials, drafting and disseminating synthesis papers of meeting results, making arrangements and payments for venue, and ensuring that participants shared and analyzed good practice in interventions and evaluations to improve learning in Sub-Saharan Africa and India.
