Our firm sponsored a robust contingent of employees and international colleagues to attend the Comparative and International Education Society’s 63rd annual conference in April of 2019 in San Francisco, California. Our team offered over two dozen presentations highlighting project activities carried out in Africa, Latin America and the United States. Themes covered include: gender equity, early grade reading practices in and out of school, inclusive education, open education resources, pre-service teacher education, Central American early grade reading collegial networking, measuring school-related gender-based violence, out-of-school youth workforce development programs, behavior change communication campaigns, and educational reform. Additionally, the company offered a panel and luncheon on sustainable high-quality early childhood settings highlighting theoretical, assessment and policy considerations.
