Los Angeles, CA – February 2015

In February 2015, Juarez & Associates received an agreement to assist the Aspen Institute’s Evidence Based Task Force to evaluate the role of evidence-based research and analysis in sustaining and increasing government funding for early childhood education, specifically targeting two-generation early childhood programs.

The objectives were to:

  • Identify the experiences of relevant programs when faced with the requirements of evidence-based criteria under current federal initiatives.
  • Conduct a contrastive analysis of federal programs and evaluation findings, and define arguments to support or reject streamlining evidence-based standards.
  • Develop feasible recommendations for addressing the streamlining of evidence-based policy for identified relevant programs.
